The Vella Group sponsors the East Lancashire Hospice 10k

On Sunday 14th January 2024, we sponsored the East Lancashire Hospice 10k 2024. The event, which begins and ends at The Vella Group Great Harwood saw an impressive turnout of 400 runners, a significant increase from the 300 participants taking part in 2023.
Nick Gaskell, Bodyshop Manager at The Vella Group Great Harwood and Louise Gaskell, Customer Service, are longstanding supporters of the hospice, and have been integral to the event's success for a decade. During this time through sponsoring the race, Nick and Louise have helped the hospice to raise over £150,000.
Following the acquisition of Nick and Louise's business in March 22023, The Vella Group has continued to sponsor the event. Despite the cold weather, Nick Gaskell completed the race with an impressive time of 36:30.
