Leading accident repair network The Vella Group has signalled its growth intentions with the strategic appointment of Tom Hadfield to the newly created role of Head of Commercial.

Tom brings over 20 years' industry experience to The Vella Group's Senior Leadership Team. He has held senior Sales, Marketing and Product Management roles in the accident repair and claims supply chain, and joins from Solera Audatex, where he most recently held the role of Global Product Manager for the technology business' Bodyshop Management System portfolio.

He will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, launching the group's B2B and B2C marketing strategies, and will play a key role in building and implementing the business' digital and growth strategies.

Commenting on the appointment, Karl Vella MBE, Chairman said: "I am pleased to welcome Tom to The Vella Group. He is very well known and respected across the industry and holds a great track record of growth and innovation. I know that he will complement the existing Senior Leadership Team extremely well and help to build on the great foundations that Marc and the team have put in place, and help to continue our current growth trajectory".
