Our Chester site is a Tesla Approved Accident Repair Centre based in Deeside, Flintshire.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
The role:
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for creating accurate repair assessments in line with repair methodology, and ensure that they are fair, reasonable, and fully justified. You will also maintain positive and effective relationships with engineers, customers, colleagues, and technicians.
The overview of the Vehicle Damage Assessor is to be responsible for creating accurate repair assessments in line with published and current repair methodology also ensuring that they are fair and reasonable and fully justified. You must also have the ability and maintain positive and effective relationships with engineers, customers, colleagues, and technicians.
Core duties and responsibilities include:
- Creating accurate right first-time repair assessments
- Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of Audatex
- Developing and/or maintaining an excellent working knowledge of E-Scribe
- Developing and/or maintaining an excellent knowledge and understanding of all insurer/customer contracts
- Holding strong communication skills with both internal and external customers, this will include entering accurate records of actions taken and/or communications made on the company management system
- Pro-actively identifying areas of improvements for the company and its processes
What are we looking for in you?
- Ideally you have previous VDA/Estimating experience
- You have a good working knowledge of Audatex and E-Scribe
- You are able to work as a team and have excellent communication skills
- You have great organisational skills and be effective with time management
- You are flexible and adaptable to change
