Apprentice schemes have always been at the heart of business since its establishment. Karl began his career in the motor trade as an apprentice panel beater and has since dedicated much of his time to supporting young apprentices within the business, eventually going on to win a variety of awards for the business' apprentice training programmes.
This assured dedication to training and apprenticeships led to Karl being awarded an MBE, at Buckingham Palace, and the IMI Industry Achiever Award, both in 2007. Later in 2009, Karl was awarded the status of Chief Expert for Autobody Repair by World Skills, an international competition for apprentices from all fields of industry to showcase their skills against one another.
Showcase your skills to the World.
During your apprenticeship, you may be selected to compete in the IMI Skill Auto Competition at WorldSkills. Specifically designed for young apprentices and learners, this competition is a great opportunity to showcase the skills you have gained throughout your time with us.
